Nice nose, aromatic older than 12 years. After that, meh. If you are not averse to more smoke, the Longrow Peated is a worthy alternative, in my opinion a similar box of flavors. Or the Longrow 18. Probably both cheaper, with more stupid (in several ways). As a (not too expensive) sample anyway interesting. 85P - the nose promised significantly more.
Candle wax, old oak cabinet, soot or even peat smoke? Wet pebbles. Wet autumn leaves, tree sap. Later, old bottle flavor becomes more popular here.
Here you can see that the whisky is somehow only 12 years old. Bizzelt something first. There is not really much flavor per volume either, and old bottle flavor appears here as well, including slightly soaked corrugated board. Soot, block malt, furniture polish, oranges, fir resin. Modriges wood.
Medium. Only a little soot, dry-bitter.
