    Absolutely stunning dram. Seems like a very good bourbon cask has been used.

    Nose
    Floral, Hint of toffee, pear

    Taste
    At first slow arrival, hints of ginger, then a lot of gooseberry complemented with liquorice, slightly nutty in the background

    Finish
    Gooseberry lingers on, then touch of lime complemented with faint (milk) chocolate notes

      initially pleasantly fruity - (slightly) sour: pear, peach, (white) currants. This is followed by floral notes and sweet syrup. In addition, in the background there is a slightly soapy note that mixes with the hay flowers - almost like those handmade solid soaps;
      Not a megabreites, but very pleasant flavor spectrum
    • Taste
      87 87
      The first sip tingles-sharp, slightly sour onset like pickled ginger, slightly soapy, licorice

      In the subsequent experiments rather fruity-spicy: apple, pears, ginger, liquorice; the dates and soapy aromas recede

      I can not recommend adding water, because this is where the soap gets the upper hand.
    • Finish
      90 90
      Flower meadow and orchard - the flowery-fruity aromas of the nose and palate remain for a long time and change from pretty sweet to rather dry.
      Again, not very broad and not very complex, but of the flavors exactly mine. The finish I find really cool!
