Absolutely stunning dram. Seems like a very good bourbon cask has been used.

    Nose
    Floral, Hint of toffee, pear

    Taste
At first slow arrival, hints of ginger, then a lot of gooseberry complemented with liquorice, slightly nutty in the background

    Finish
Gooseberry lingers on, then touch of lime complemented with faint (milk) chocolate notes

rather good, well matured but feels very cask driven. possibly a bit too long in the cask? sweet and woody, I find the balance a little off. 7/10
    • Nose
ripe conference pears, juice from a tin of mixed fruits, honeysuckle, slightly menthol, and pickled ginger. an intriguing nose that shows quite some maturity even if it does not quite hang together.
    • Taste
gooseberry jam, herbal cordials, liquorice root, tinned mixed fruit, pickled ginger, delivered in one punch but with quite a long finish. interesting mix and very distinctive.

    Beautiful bourbon matured whisky
    • Nose

Lime, eucalyptus, soap, mint, pear. Slight alcoholic strength
    • Taste
      89 89
      Pear, apple, slightly alcoholic, woody
    • Finish
      88 88
      Increasingly bitter

      initially pleasantly fruity - (slightly) sour: pear, peach, (white) currants. This is followed by floral notes and sweet syrup. In addition, there is a very slightly soapy note in the background that mixes with the hay flowers - almost like these hand-made solid soaps;
No mega-wide, but very pleasant aroma spectrum
    • Taste
      87 87
At the first sip, tingling, sharp, slightly acidic start like pickled ginger, slightly soapy, licorice

In the subsequent experiments, more fruity and spicy: apple, pear, ginger, liquorice; the sour and soapy aromas recede

I do not recommend adding water, because the soap gains the upper hand here.
    • Finish
      90 90
Flower meadow and orchard - the floral, fruity aromas from the nose and palate remain for a long time and change from pretty sweet to pretty dry.
Again: not very broad and not very complex, but of the flavors exactly mine. I think the finish is really cool!

    Just beautiful.
    • Nose
Honeycomb, geraniums and salted popcorn, With faint whiffs of blackcurrant jam.
    • Taste
Ginger beer, apple grips, faint liquorice and then gooseberries and chocolate ice cream.
    • Finish
Praline, soft grassy notes and then cloves and lime zest.

    Great. Very astonishingly good.
    I join my pre-probes.
Meadow of flowers and bright fruits, a colorful, tasty, very tasty, sweet, not too oak barrel heavy fruit basket.

Very complex malt. However, fruit is rather subtle. Nice interplay between acidity, creaminess, malt, and a nice citrus tart. Reminiscent of a good Sauvignon Blanc from France.
    • Nose

Vanilla, brioche. Malty, freshly baked white bread. fresh popcorn, toasted. Honey.
    • Taste
      89 89
Ginger spiciness. continuous tingling on the tongue. Light fruit aromas behind. Apple, currant. Then becomes creamier. Vanilla comes up and a nice acidity. Reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc.
    • Finish
      88 88
Citrus, grapfruit. Changes from bitter to sour.
