If only today's whiskys were like this Talisker.
uh This would be so nice!
First thought: Brett!
Second thought: F+*K Y+* Macallen ;-D
Oily, creamy streaks run down the glass. Bright fruits. Orange compote. Great wood. Spices. Salty sea air.
He has character!
Then it gets musty. But "nice" musty!
A note of crushed banana is added later.
That fits somehow great with the mustiness.
As hard as the streaks run down the glass, the malt also runs into the mouth. Great viscosity!
The typical Talisker chili catch is very small.
You don't really believe him for ten years. Tastes older.
Tobacco. Leather. Orange compote. Really great wood on the tongue. Some bacon and very subtle restrained smoke.
Wood. orange chocolate. Salt.
The Talisker sticks to the palate for a very long time. Great!
It's going to be drier at the back.
