with water: no, hardly any changes, and with more water there are almost typical cucumber water aromas, more grain notes, hay, grass, green walnut, cardamom
Conclusion: At first I doubted myself. Is this really a bourbon? Yes, it hides well at the beginning, but is clearly recognizable with the addition of water and in the mouth. Nice whiskey, but apart from the unusual start, nothing special either

mhh .... is this really a bourbon? Lots of light fruits and some honey, plus lots of cinnamon and vanilla from the clearly noticeable Virgin oak cask, only after a while do the more typical Bourbon notes come through, sweet corn and spicy rye, neat pencil rubbing, as you would expect at 7yo New Oak, in the background there is some coconut cream, some elderberry also plays in, the high alcohol is noticeable, but surprisingly well integrated

Honey and vanilla sweetness, light fruit, and then the bourbon notes break through completely, especially rye and the clear maiston with now very strong glue - yes, now the bourbon is unmistakable, here too the alcohol is surprisingly soft
-
rather short, sweet, glue, a few heel fruits and a lot of oak, which gets damn dry afterwards, some cinnamon, clove and nutmeg
