I actually think the nose is quite good. In my mouth it is somehow not exciting enough for me. It is certainly not bad now, but also nothing that inspires you.
    • Nose
Sour cherries thickened with custard. Raspberry jam. Some rose water. Hairspray. Fudge. Bitter almond flavor. Bit of floor wax. Juicy and fresh branches.
    • Taste
Pleasant, but somehow boring to start with. Semolina pudding with cherries. Cream candy. Only when the oak sets in is there a bit of movement. Sweet wood notes paired with subtle sharpness.

Really pleasant whisky and if it weren't for the bitterness I would not hesitate to recommend it.
    • Nose
It's sweet with honey and a tinge of marzipan and fudge, but also grassy and with a whiff of varnish, lemon and greek yoghurt. A touch of fennel as well.
    • Taste
Slightly waxy, a touch of honey and more subtle sweet flavours. There's a touch of tobacco here, as well as cappuccino. A little more dark and less vibrant than the nose.
    • Finish
      Lingering bitterness, oak. Fairly long.
