It is a good whisky for its age (44 months, 30 ex-bourbon and 14 ex-'Anker 'barrels), but it is (too) expensive. I think this is due to the low production capacity of the distillery. The Anchor barrels come from Portugal, but I do not sample what the wood was used for before.
Grass, vanilla, citrus, little dried peach / apricot
Young, green banana. Green, sour apple. Peach candy. Soft but thin.
Short: Green apple, slightly sweet and bitter
