- Blind tasted on 06-05-2020.
- Young and feisty! This Butt was quite savory, with lots of grilled/roasted blends of spice. The brightly fruity distillate can shine through though so all is well.
This is obviously young! Sugared pears, caramel cookies, and cocktail cherries. Walnut oil, sesame seeds! With water it turns into a more white-fruity concoction of peach and banana. Pretty solid!
Sweet-sour arrival. Mint chocolate, roasted nuts, more banana, and caramelized cucumber. A tiny bit of gunpowder with a splash of citrus and vanilla as well.
Medium. A rather sweet departure, with honeyed biscuit and banana. No tannins to be found here whatsoever.
- Fun, but too young overall, I don't really see the point of this.
Y.O.U.N.G. nose, on sour pear, Federweisser, and pineapple. Sweet, with cookie dough and a sense of fruit gums. Would've guessed this was refill rather than first-fill sherry-matured.
Needs water. Nice umami character that pushes aside the fermentary, new-makey aromas. All kinds of meaty, savory, soupy goodness, with an herbal edge (parsley). Red apples, some creamy custard, perhaps a sour blueberry or two. Nice, initially, but it flattens out after a few seconds.
