Wonderfully tasty and intense malt. Sherry abound.
For fans overloaded sherry flavors a highlight.
    • Nose
      90 90
Blueberries, blackberries, chestnuts, leaves, hints of vanilla, caramel and tea. Slight maggies and meats and sour flavors.
    • Taste
      91 91
Full sherry freight with dark, sweet fruits, such as dates, blueberries but also a nutty spiciness. Very pure with creamy texture and elegantly integrated alcohol - to intense, almost like a whisky-sherry mixture, in this sense, but not necessarily complex.
    • Finish
      90 90
Long, pleasant balanced oak bitterness, tobacco, tea and dark fruit notes merge. The aromas remain present in the oral cavity for a long time.

A nice experience. One has the impression of having a very old sherry in the mouth. One should take care that the bottle survives the evening.
    Sherry flavors overshadow everything.
I personally like these sherynotes very much. Opinion so purely subjective
    • Nose
      92 92
Dark fruits overlie the leftover vanilla. A whole forest of fruits comes to meet you. Slight sour notes make you want more. The urge to taste this whisky increases from second to second
    • Taste
      92 92
As indicated above, salivation begins. A whole armada of sweet fruits fill the mouth. It is reminiscent of a bowl of thick jam reminiscent of blueberries and other forest fruits. Very oily nut notes combine with the sweet sherry.
The easygoing dominates even more. The bottle has to suffer;)
    • Finish
      88 88
Now you can feel light wood flavors that blend with the fruits. The bitterness of the oak remains very discreet, so that the sweetness predominates. Salivation begins again.
