Somewhat inconspicuous, but overall a nice standard bottling with a typical Speyside nose.
However, I find the mushroom note in the aroma quite special. Once recognized, I find it really difficult to focus on other nuances ...

      Very inconspicuous and light nose.
Nectar-rich flower meadow, vanilla, honey, very light oak spice, a hint of coconut, pineapple, lime, unripe apples, but also an aroma that reminds me of freshly cut mushrooms (mushrooms) - not unpleasant, but interesting. I've never had that with a malt before.
    • Taste
      83 83
Relatively full body considering the low drinking strength. Very soft mouthfeel.
Honey, vanilla, mushrooms, pineapple, peach, coconut, white oak seasoning.
    • Finish
      81 81
Short finish. Honey, lime and a hint of oak spice remain.

Smooth and pleasant whisky with a lot of notes of fruits and vanilla. Light, smooth and tasty dram.

Smell: The tangy fruity aroma with a hint of salty crisp, like a creamy apple pie placed in an incubator, but the sulfur molecules quickly came out and spoiled, immediately making the smell like inferior fruit candy, followed by a wooden aroma Also joined in the melee, inferior furniture, wood oil, brand new packaging, of course, the sweet and fruity flavor has not disappeared, and everyone at the back end is a waxy mint.

Drink: The taste is full and smooth, with a slight burning sensation. The salty and fresh taste is the main theme, accompanied by some fruity and citrus fruits, with a medium finish and a cool finish.

Sense: Probably like Jiahao, an egg-bearing sister. The main theme and taste of the two are similar to each other, but the Aegean’s insect barrel condenser retains a lot of sulfur for the wine body, which makes the layer and three-dimensional sense rich. Some moments are not very pleasing.

No soap flavor in this batch. a previous one.
Bitter, white-light brown wood, beech nuts. At first I thought: a world of difference from the other bottle; much better. Later I find it disappointing due to the bitterness and the absence of coffee / chocolate flavors. This too needs time to lose sharpness.

Again, a good entry-level whisky. Not a bad PLV.
    • Nose
      84 84
Fruit notes and malt rise in the nose, beautiful caramel notes, boiled vegetables and a light pineapple note can be discovered
    • Taste
      82 82
Vanilla notes and again the maltiness, tones of white bread, a little oily, later something sweet is added
    • Finish
      82 82
Medium length with some peppery, then sweetness comes through again, in the end the oak comes through minimally

Low-key Sherrymalt, I like it. But seems to have waned compared to previous versions. 86/100
    • Nose
Sweet, nutty, slightly bitter (herbs), malty. Dusty raisins. Aromatic orange peel to fresh oranges. The fruit becomes more intense the longer you smell it. At the beginning, bitter nuttiness stood in the foreground. Almonds. Honey is noticeable, flowery. Honey spice. Lemon balm. Licorice.
    • Taste
sweet, sour, fruity. Refreshingly sour and bitter. Oranges, limes, with a fruity sweetness, apricot. Nut cream, earthy herbs. Basil.
    • Finish
Citrus flavors, earthy notes. Nuts, orange and dried fruits on the palate.
