  1. MaroFF scored this whisky 89 points Expert Senior

A very good whisky, with lots of fruit, chocolate and a freshly roasted coffee aftertaste.
A bit too spicy for me in the final stages.
    What's missing?
I think it could have more alcohol strength ... 53 - 56%, it would be perfect!

The only whisky stored in a sherry barrel that is 100% convincing.

High sherry share. With a few hogsheads.
    Price performance unbeatable.
    • Nose
      88 88
Clear sherry. Beguiling, fruity scent. Honey, jam. Like a woman with a silk dress.
Smells creamy, banana. More sherry portion than the 21-year-old. No oak.
The second time dark cherry, dark fruits.
    • Taste
      90 90
Oily, creamy, mild. Sweet and full of flavor. Oak is slowly forming. Berry. Very present taste, complex.
At the second sip more spicy. No bitterness. Cocoa and pepper.
    • Finish
      93 93
Long, profound finish, without sharpness. Hardly any bitterness, chocolate. Great. Warming. Very round. Sugared almonds.
