- A lingering smell reminds me of a sleepless week in 2007. Very nice whisky for the price
Warm leather, earthy, iodine, sand, turf ofcourse, a little bit of copper/iron, a little bit of sweetness and way back a hint of mint. It's not as strong in the nose as a lagavulin 16.
Dried fruit, oily, iodine, smooth, hint of caramel, nutty, again a little bit of iron. The abv is just right for this one.
Little bitter, long, little spicy, medium long finish. Turf lingers, smoke.
