This is a quite old single cask for Bruichladdich ,since distillery have shut down for several years during 90s .
On nose brown sugar , dried black fruit , some spices , anise, cinamon, a bit sherry sour hiding in the end. A sherry monster with a good mood ,i should say .quite gentle and warm , but with this acohol level ,all details can be figured out .
In mouth , wow , warm and complex, lot of flavors that you want to seize. Black chocolate, toffee , I really like the sour and a bit taninnic to balance , make this sherry monster lure me to drink , sip and a sip……and what is this ? smoky on the back after swallow ,no much no less, so,sexy~just let all flavors alive to dance .
It's my cup of tea . The first sip is not COUP DE FOUDRE , but you always want to drink it .like a old friend , calm and familiar , can always be together for longtime ,chatting or even just just a glass of whisky without any word.
