We began with a distinctly sunny experience as ripe summer fruits mixed with a flower garden packed with primroses, violets and dandelions on the lawn. The zestiness of lime skin joined greengage for a lively approach towards the familiar scents of coconut shavings and hard toffee. The palate began with an enthusiastic introduction to spiced chutney and chilli jam that turned towards the sugared domains of lime candyfloss and hot apple crumble with a large spoonful of brandy butter. Water unveiled the delicately floral notes of jasmine tea with a sprig of parsley and the lifted tones of menthol and mint. A touch of cherry cola joined towards the finish with a sturdy framework of wood tannins completing the picture.
