- Very nice sherry grain bomb, great dram.
Sweet sherry notes, cappuccino, mocca, marzepan, nuts, some leather, Chocolate.
Full sherry bomb, strong, pepper, chocolate, leather, cappuccino, coffee, marzepan.
Still strong and warming, long finish, coffee, honey, and some orange notes now.
- fine sherry bomb. loads of dark fruits, some dried apricots, some hints of marzipan, traces of nuts. after a while some leather, some spices, quite some oak as well but not disturbing. finish is long lasting and full of sherry. Another fine North British from Càrn Mòr but I did like the 1992 a lot better. Fine dram!
- Since it is a grain, it unleashed the full power from a good quality sherry cask. A real sherry monster, rich honeyed dates, leather and sweet dried orange. In the same league of some recent Glendronach....
Modern sherry, oaky, cognac, balsamic vinegar.
Leather, dark sugar, very sour, dates.
long, sherry and oak, dark sherry
