Nose: Immediately identifiable as Ledaig. Funky peat smoke and green olives (complete with pimento filling). A stronger sweet honey note than in the other one. Earth, nori, slightly sour malt, and rice vinegar.
Palate: Sweeter than the SMWS Ledaig. Honey sweetness and toasted marshmallow. More nori, peat smoke, and some pork crackling. More of a wood-smoke sourness to the peat here. Underneath is some fresh pear.
Finish: Oily, in both texture and flavour. More barbeque pork here, with tobacco, oak, and vanilla.
