Nose: Under the air of youth, it offers a beautiful wealth of sweet malt, red and dry fruits, such as cranberry, cherry inevitably, but also cinnamon. Yes, there is still this grainy and sweet sensation that we find in the raisin. I think that on the nose Sauternes barrels dominate the whole. The opening will offer I also find chocolate.
-
Palate: Enveloping and silky, with a power just up to expectations, offering an intense but controlled experience of this whisky. Then the finish will totally indulge our taste buds. For those who have already tasted the liqueur that their parents or grandparents prepared with the cherries of the garden, it is a madeleine of Proust. There is also a contribution of drier wood, tannins, spices, but really enough to complement a table already rich in color and fruit. Yes besides the cherry we will find a set of red fruits rather creamy.

Finish: Dry, woody, with always these notes of red fruits and cinnamon. The fruity aspect will become more complex, offering prunes and this stewed texture, dried apricots, macerated cherry.
