- read my tasting note https://b-spirit.eu/glendronach-1993-25-years-cask-659/
- Rich fruit nose, ubiquitous dried fruit, cherries in liqueur, varnish - very pleasant,. taste - complex, oloroso, chocolate, dried fruit, figs, oily, thick, finish - intense, long, bitter chocolate, raisins, an old cellar very pleasant as befits a sherry bomb!
- A very impressive sherry cask. For me it needs a little bit more vivacity but what a monster !
Rich, fruity and spicy.
Big mouth, very "sherry". Chocolate, fig, coffee, plum, rancio.
Very long and large with not much perception of alcohol but intensity.
First sauerkraut. Raisin, fig, mocha, prune and minerals. With water some apricot.
Mocha, raisin, date and peanut. Also here a lighter peachy fruitiness is unveiled when adding water.
Praliné, prune, raisin and dark chocolate.
