Faint. Fruity - likeliest pear, but very mild. Really getting my nose in there, I get freshly cleaned sheets. Some surprising coastal notes. Digging deep, the pear becomes more evident.
Best descriptor I can come up with overall is: clean.
Super viscous. Oily. Has a wonderful note reminiscent of a SV 1997 Glentauchers 21 year that I love, but have never been able to place precisely. Nice peppered spice. Pear popsicles. Faintly perfume-y.
On the third sip it turned much drier, woodier, and leans more into fruits, including a variety of berries.
Oily, fatty, and coating. Spiced. Fruity notes carry over. The oak really starts to build with time, but it never overwhelms. Maybe some cinnamon.
Very long, very pleasant finish.
