We started with an assortment of sweeties; jolly rancher fruit flavoured candy, soft sugared jelly babies and dusted lemon bonbons. With time boozy Black Forest cupcakes made from chocolate sponge laced with sweet black Morello cherries and topped with vanilla buttercream took centre stage. On the palate neat cinnamon baked plums were followed by fresh starfruit, ginger and lemon juice. With water we were making barbequed sweet Teriyaki chicken and honey lemon pancakes whilst the taste was sweet with a refreshing lemon flavour like a lemon Bundt cake with a tangy glaze and served with vanilla ice cream.
