Never been much of a fan of Tomatin or a fan of PX finishes, so it is a serious fluke that I even bought this bottle. But this one is a winner. The PX is integrated so well. Big body thanks to the fairly high abv. On the initial taste, it almost reminds me more of an oloroso aged Glendronach. Then on the finish the PX sweetness pops up, however it is not an overpowering sweetness like some PX finishes that ruin other scotches I’ve tried. Great cask selection from KWM.
