Whisky Reviews for Glengoyne 21-year-old

Expected to be a step higher than the 18yo. Burned sugar. Caramel. Fruit, apple and pear again. Wood, nuts, wax. Spicy. Nice nose!
Soft and bitter. Nice earthy tones on the tongue. Fruity with a pepper. Less flat than the 18yo.
Medium. The spicy remains delicious on the tongue. The pepper gives the sharp edge.
- Great nose. But my high expectations in view of the price he could not meet. In the glass he was surprisingly watery and on the palate a very peppery note overlaid the fruity sweet flavors. Not a bad malt, but I promised myself more. For 70 € he would be OK in my opinion in the PLV. Probably a few Vol.% Would do him more very well.
