Young, fresh aromas on the nose, even lighter new-make, fresh yeast dough, slightly fleshy over time, licorice, floral notes. Maybe a hint of smoke, as well as light coastal flavors, a bit mineral. Aromatic on the tongue with a slightly oily mouthfeel, a pleasant malty sweetness, light tingle and little pepper.
Interesting. The malt does not seem to have "arrived" yet. Exciting insight into the ripening process, similar to a young barrel sample.
