- Aroma is dark and brooding with a meaty, spicy and BBQ sweet profile that I just want to keep smelling; Palate pulls off the same notes but with a pronounced tobacco note; Finish is a long winding fade that goes from sweet to savory and back. I love this whisky.

This is a very, very pleasant nose! Impressive after only 8 years. This has a great fresh earthy peat note with even a farmy touch. This is being combined with gentle and round sherry notes. Sweet raisins, berries and creamy milk stuffing in 'Kinder' chocolate. This is absolutely fabulous.
Silky and fresh upon arrival. grenadine syrup, chestnuts and a dry sherry oak note. After a while it gets quite aggressive. Chili peppers take over control. Not one to hold in your mouth for too long. That's a pitty.
A medium-long and pleasant finish. It is a bit peppery though. So I will add some water and see what happens. There is quite some anise to be found as well as red fruits.
It's not a bad whisky at all. The biggest con in my opinion is that the whole seems to collapse a bit after some time and water.
- Sweet and slightly smoky.
- Very sweet, yellow to red fruits and a nice light smoke next to it. Rather simple, but beautiful.
