- remember that Mr Holl dared to keep the imprint of his distillate as much as possible by letting it age in worn oak barrels, so without any external contribution.
- A dram that amazed me, syrupy, creamy, fresh fruity then stewed, with grassy returns, camphor and gentian.
fruity on apricots, some herbs, almonds, fairly strong spices and dry woods in return! back to life.
strong nostrils despite just 42 °, spices on verbena, gingerbread, fruity return on apricot (still) and melon, a little maderized !!, woody dry enough in the end, and fat feet on the glass, the almost characteristic eau de vie that I find in many Alsatian finishes here on mint and kirch drowned in a tear of lemon. the wet grass is present.
long, woody, on a compote of fruits at this moment.
