It wets yer whistle - if I only had moments to live I wouldn't waste them trying to pour a dram of this out (the missus will be pleased).
    • Nose
      80 80
Cherry cheesecake - dark red fruit anyway.
    • Taste
      79 79
Pleasant enough, but hard to describe - no one flavour comes to the fore.
    • Finish
      79 79
Medium - a mere memory of fruit lingers but like Tantalus, it dissolves as soon as you try and grab it.

First bourbon and then a finish in each of Vosges, Jupilles, Les Bertranges, Allier, Tronçais, and Limousin casks. Heavy with French connection here isn't it? Different type of woods all over France from left, right and center. Heavily criticized by many for this, but does it matters? Trust that happened anyway and probably many other distilleries just simplified and called it French / European Oak without telling the species like this did.

N- Bitter chocolate with waves of buttery raisin, creamy and black tea. Well underlying coastal with air dried fish, various sun baked shells, sands and beach notes. Honey and distant decay notes develops overtime. Prelude weighty aroma to stimulate the urge for a sip. (87/21)

P- Silky with edgy sweet woods juice, mixture of various perfume-y essence. Sweet peach and vanilla. Semi dry, sour, spicy and spiky notes. Too bad the lurking coastal side suggested from the aroma shy away on palate. (86/20)

F- Medium-long, oak-y with orange, pleasantly warm with dry mouth-coat. Stays weighty throughout and lasting with creamy hot Cafe mocha. (86/20)

    B/B- 87/21

    Cr-2, Fr-1, Fl-0, Pt-1, Ft-1, Sp-0, Wd-3, Wn-2, Sc-2

    Weighted Rate- 81pt

Seven Wood? Sounds like a sex party at Snow White's house. What is going on with Jura? I hope this was just a one off experiment. Well done for trying, now move on. This was a sample courtesy of my Polish neighbour Mick.
    • Nose
      75 75
Not much on the nose at all, what is there is very faint. I can find Kiwi Fruit, blood orange, Lyon's golden syrup, dark plum, blackberries and raspberries.
    • Taste
      70 70
The taste is okay, pleasant enough, dark fruits with a little spice, even some dark chocolate. I think someone might have mentioned this but there is too much in the mix, most of it is lost leaving only a couple of dominant features. Also it is lacking a bit of a kick.
    • Finish
      78 78
A medium dark fruity finish, again with chocolate on the death but not dark this time. In fact the finish is the best thing about it.

there are too many barrels and therefore no one gets through properly and you get nothing "to grasp"
that is nothing, is too thin
    • Nose
Flower meadow, pastries, light and green malt, hay, a bit strange, minimal smoke
later elastic bands and bright fruit
    • Taste
soft and silky on the palate
      bitter, wood, espresso ??
    • Finish
      medium long
      bitter, red berry is coming

Did not like. It's hard to compare something, it's hard to spot some notes of flavor or taste. Sweet in the nose, sweet on the tongue. Lotion, vanilla, something like that ... Aftertaste some rosy, unpleasant, as if sucking the sole of an old boot.

I do not know, maybe I did not understand something, but this drink does not deliver pleasure to me. The standard Jura 10 yo is much nicer, albeit almost twice as cheap.
