Whisky Reviews for Glenallachie 2004 AMC

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 86.33 points

  1. shootingforgold scored this whisky 87 points Member Senior

When the bottle was first opened there was an overpowering gummy/rubbery/pectin taste in the finish. After six-seven months that has mostly faded but still: what should have been an eye-popping dram, heavy in citrus, cherries, and raisins ended up being a bit of a let down.

  2. Ganga scored this whisky 86 points Expert Junior

This hits the notes I want from sherry matured whiskies. The cherries is just an over the top note. Maybe there is some rubber notes underlying but it isn't much if it is there.

    • Taste
