- I find it in the second sip already pretty harsh, with opposite poles are present. All in all a decent malt, but nothing outstanding.
Notes from a blind tasting.
Yellow fruits, some lightly fermented, vanilla, a light house brandy and some sweat to sniff right after pouring. If you turn off the glass, you think you have just smelt of a fat roast. After a while, it's yellow compote, peaches and mirabelle plums, and sweet caramel pudding at the center. Then there is also an idea anise and some freshly cut meadow. When heated, it brightens strongly, fresh fruit, eg. B .: Green apples and mint are now clearly present. He's biting his nose now. Here, too, there is a certain sensitivity to temperature, the aromas are too warm and there is not much else except floor wax and menthol.
Very mild at first, the consistency is a bit watery, but then it comes quite strong, with fruity notes next to strong caramel and even stronger herbs. In the second sip he is already very bitter herbaceous front and is rather sweeter to the rear. This time, however, with significant fruit acid, ie towards gooseberries z. B.
In the finish, it warms briefly after, it dries noticeably further, the tannins remain medium-length on the tongue. With the second sip he starts here more sweet and creamy and does not dry off quite so far.
