  1. Laird Of Islay did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

It is believed that Tamnavulin is most likely hidden behind this mark.

Nose: nice, delicate, quite pleasant, toffee, caramel
Taste: baked apple, citrus notes, slightly alcoholic, (my daughter smells milk chocolate) slightly peppery
Finish: not too long, but quite pleasant with the aftertaste of sugar lemon with the addition of a pinch of pepper

After adding a little water, on a big plus, it became more delicate, but the traces of pepper are still noticeable.

  4. KB201 scored this whisky 78 points Connoisseur

A 12 year old Highland single malt for little money.

      Short finish

  5. Tom na Gruagaich scored this whisky 75 points Connoisseur

Average. Enough for the hip flask.
Round, balanced whisky. No corners and edges. Somewhat without identity, but quite delicious.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about at this price and this one is definitely better than for example the standard filling of Loch Lomond for about 15 Euro. Where the 18-year-old from Lidl (see: http://www.whiskybase.com/whiskies.php?merkid=176&whiskyid=12321 ) for a mere 18 euros is certainly the better choice. Incidentally, Norma also had a 21-year-old Scotch Whisky just before Christmas (see: http://www.whiskybase.com/whiskies.php?merkid=176&whiskyid=27895 ), which is by far the best with its unbeatable 19 euros Price / performance ratio offered and thus smoothly all other discounter bottlings in the shade.

  8. Ras Mazunga scored this whisky 83 points Super Administrator

I had a sample earlier this week and liked it a lot. It tastes a bit like Aberlour but then maybe a little salty.

    Good whisky for that price.
