Medium-quality liquor. It is not outstanding in terms of aroma and taste, but it cannot be said that it is expressionless. Its price reflects the level of this whiskey. I won't buy it, but I'm glad that I could check and taste this dram.

Oh, I like it a bit better than its Speyside brother, as always with such boys, the peat may be hidden. a few problem areas better, but nicely not as cluttered as with some other NAS peaters, really good for the money nowadays.
    • Nose
Surprisingly aromatic and balanced, nice sweet peat directly, integrated with fine herbs, e.g. thyme, fennel, rosemary, a little vanilla and Earl Gray, young oak and possibly. a hint of dried apple chips
    • Taste
Green apple surprising, then nice, warm peat, but not too overloading, rosemary, oregano, thyme, a few more green tones, green paprika, tree resin, earl gray, you can tell the young age with a little acidity and young oak, lemon peel , sweet cereal
    • Finish
Oak, Earl Gray, fine peat, tick grain, chamomile, medium length

sweet peat, velvety, fresh smoke, fruity of fresh citrus fruits,
a little vanilla and fruit on the juicy apples, quite sweet.
it continues on peat, slightly cooked citrus, vanilla in syrup, salty return, pleasant giving more scents.
a little wood and the cold smoke that returns, the spices are indented.
flat, on the same liquefied scents, short finish requiring a refill.

  10. Achany scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

interesting, lightly peated, some salty tones, sweet, malty, not too many spices in there, just a fine combination of sweet peat. finish is all right, rather short.
Not too bad, looking Forward to seeing and tasting more of this stuff.

    Colour: white wine.
Nose: peated smoke, salt, white fruits, oak, light fruits rottenness, vanilla, croissant, spices and red apples.
Mouth: peated smoke, dust, white fruits, vanilla, oak, earth and salt.
Finish: middle with notes of peated smoke, spices, salt, white fruits, oak and wood coal.
Island is a good balanced, smooth and peaty whisky.
