  1. Captain.Islay scored this whisky 87 points Expert Junior

The nose is excellent, the taste falls off and the finish recovers. Sweet, fruity but not very complex. However, he expresses the aromas he offers strongly. The alcohol is well integrated.

SMELL cautious, needs some time to open up. Then mineral, moist pebble beach, light notes of sea salt, subtle fruit: dried peaches, mango. TASTE tart, sweet East Frisian tea with cane sugar, sweet honey wine, some fresh wood and light spicy notes. Long-lasting finish with a warming sweetness of honey, fine, light bitter tones of black tea and fresh herbs.
