  1. St. Pauli scored this whisky 80 points Connoisseur

An old Bowmore, but not a dram to remember. It's rather perfumed and otherwise not so outspoken. The peat influence is rather small.
    • Nose
      82 82
A classic old Bowmore style. Somewhat chalky (mineral), with beach pebbles, salt, mossy peat, liquorice and a bit of lavender (not disturbing at all).
    • Taste
      79 79
Now the floral side turns more prominent. Lavender and heather. Now it's a bit more in the direction of FWP. Further: honey, vanilla, apple sauce, liquorice and damp peat smoke.
    • Finish
      80 80
A tad sour on lemon juice and yogurt, and with the floral side still prominent. The peat is very modest, almost untraceable. Spice (allspice) and earthy notes (gravel, liquorice) linger.
