- Certainly one of the craziest whiskys I've ever tasted. For my taste buds a very unusual, hardly to describe aromatic ... which also changes "every minute". A really funny part that you definitely enjoy.
- CASK No. 13.54SWEET, FRUITY & MELLOWWARTORN HIGHLANDER LOOKS OUT TO SEA...
This is a bold and uncompromising example of this famous make. The panel found it immediately fatty and slightly salty with notes of frying bacon lardons, aged Mezcal, fresh citrus, wet rock, sheep wool, wet soil and lemon and coriander marmalade. A lean minerality pervades the nose. Water brought dill, gravadlax with lemon juice, soot, chamomile tea, marjoram, rosehips, brown sugar, wax and Turkish delights. The palate was sweeter with vanilla, toasted cereals, cinnamon bark, chocolate gingers, fresh cherries, leather and herbal liqueurs. With water there were more savoury notes of brioche, black pepper, samphire, hessian, dunnage and cured meats.
