I am absolutely no friend of living bottles, so I find the principle of living casks a bit strange, but I have to say here. It's awesome, the flavors interweave into a composition that is so tasty and complex that you can not believe it. The flavors are individually perceptible, but alternate with each other. It's like a slightly sloshing liquid, sometimes that's something to taste, sometimes the other flavor. I especially liked the combination of mushrooms, smoke, orange juice, orange marmalade and raisins. It sounds strange, but for me this whiskey is the best I've ever tasted.
Malty, mushrooms, cane sugar, some citrus, raisins, orange juice and orange marmalade and a bit bready
Sherry aromas, mushrooms, raisins, a bit of sulfur, cane sugar, orange juice and orange marmalade, a hint of smoke, malty and a touch of herbs from the oak
Smoke, still the mushrooms and the sherry, as well as the orange juice and the orange marmalade stay quite long and eventually come a few tannins
