Whisky Reviews for Inchgower 2009 GM

- Always with a certain prejudice, he treated modern young Speyside, but here it seems like even very interesting.
- Classy fragrance, thick until July. To taste and aftertaste is too much, as for me, an oak. Somewhat contradictory impressions. Good whisky for tasting, but for simple taste too obsessive, strict style.
Jerez, burnt apricot jam, almonds, varnishes / paints (beautifully, delicately), dried fruit, dates, dust, honey, earthiness, condensed milk, oak, hazelnuts, pleasant berry sourness, boiled vegetables. Dense, agile, sticky aroma, without restraint. Cute
Oak, pepper, sherry, spices, meat, bay leaves, varnishes / paints, dried fruit. Too many oak
Oak, warming, pepper, spices (bay leaf), sherry, burnt jam, dried fruit, bitter, knit, long enough. Again too much oak.
- The first nose is a young snooty varnish, but quickly calms down and goes into soft notes of dried fruit and baking.
The taste is powerful sweet, fruity, does not shine with shades
Aftertaste - vanilla, varnish, fruit, cherry syrup?
for 8 years is not very bad, but there is no great desire to return to it
