Whisky Reviews for Braeval 2002 McG

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 84.50 points

  1. Frion83 scored this whisky 85 points Expert Senior

Pervosti in the aroma slips spirits, but with time they evaporate and you can fully enjoy the aroma. Well-knit, okay sherry youth.
    • Nose
Aroma: Sweet malt, wet wood and a little citrus (dried orange peel). Butter and a little wild flowers. Generally dense and rich enough flavor for this age.
    • Taste
Taste: Creamy with oak, dried fruit is dominated by prunes. Telny.
    • Finish
Finish: Butter, prunes, oak and malt. Long enough.

  2. Calmar scored this whisky 84 points Connoisseur

Simple, but very sound, good balance, nice, warm, good work with the fortress - everything is very dense and saturated, no watery and subtle. Very worthy for their money.
    • Nose
Closed, wet, oak, mineral notes, wet cardboard, weak malt-grain tones.
    • Taste
Tight, dried fruits, creamy sweetness, soft and spicy oak.
    • Finish
Continuation of taste, dried fruits, oak, creamy sweetness, quite rich and long.
