    • Nose
fresh citrus scent; sweet oranges; really mushy and overripe bananas; very floral, reminiscent of a blooming summer meadow; a delicate note of caramel
    • Taste
      strong and spicy; beautiful barrel influence; Leather, then comes a pronounced nut; becomes creamy velvet in the mouth; beautiful spices; slightly bitter wood note; light fruit; becoming minimally tart; I have a distinct sharpness, which does not come from the alcohol, rather strong spiciness of the barrel;
    • Finish
first citrus, then tart; again and again citrus; beautiful oak flavor; the mouth contracts easily and comfortably; now I have a grainy oat note; always light fruit in between; towards the end oats always fade away (oat flakes with milk, soaked for a long time and strong)

    • Nose
      90 90
Strongly fruity character. A basket full of apples, vanilla and a liter of melted honey. Sweet. A field full of flowers, fresh grass, beeswax and grain. Very friendly and warm aroma.
    • Taste
      90 90
consistent with the aroma. Very sweet and waxy, mouth covering. Boiled apples in honey and caramel. Some delicate oak. Very warm and friendly taste.
    • Finish
      89 89
Sweetness turning into dryness, spices from cask, grassy and some pepper. Medium to long. Wonderful single malt. Clynelish’s style played here amazing with this bourbon cask.

    Excellent Clynelish.
    • Nose
Soft, grassy floral, greenary, yellow fruits.

Lightly salty, reminding me of Ritz crackers, with a touch of gentle smoke.

      Very inviting nose.
    • Taste
Thick, rich, almost waxy, mouth covering.

Again quite light with sweet floral notes along with very nice cereals.

An underlying more "beefy" smoked note.

Growing spice, giving it a good but still gentle kick.
    • Finish
Good long finish. Sweet and rounded.

With water it turns a little dryer.
