    • Nose
first full of raisins! Then slightly flowery, soapy, almost sticky. Caramel comes through and reminds a bit of fresh yeast with a lot of raisins in it.
      Overall, very cute.
    • Taste
In the mouth it gets fruity. Again the raisins, but also grapes, plums, pears .. and a nutty spice is added.
    • Finish
The finish is medium long and a bit dry. The fruits are more subtle, but spicy. In the finish it could have been a sip of red wine ...

The label reminds of old trade maps or travel journals.  It tasted great neat or on the rocks, but I found the combination with coconut water recommended on the brand's website (called Many waters) particularly interesting and perfect for summer aperitifs.
    • Nose
Excellent Irish whiskey received as a gift for my birthday. It is finished in first-fill XO Caribean casks which previously aged Demerara rum. Notes of vanilla and oak on the nose, with pleasant hints of banana, pineapple and spice.
    • Taste
Very creamy on the palate with notes of dried fruits, like dates and raisins.
    • Finish
The finish is round and warm on the palate, typical of Demerara Rums.

For 20-25 € / 0.7l is quite solid, if you do not immediately hold the trunk in the glass, but a little wait. Stronger and spicier than expected, I had feared laxer / watery, the Rumnote is also quite good, because I'm actually not a fan of, only the fruitiness could have been a bit more specific.
    • Nose
starts just after pouring something unpleasant; so between undefined artificial-fruity, solvents and Bacardi white - which may really stand for a few minutes ... and is quite pleasant - caramel, honey, slightly spicy (cinnamon / nutmeg), slightly overripe banana and so'ne quite subtle bitter Exotic fruit note, so the much-cited exotic fruit basket or fruit salad is best on the next but one table ... later it's still a little burnt-sugary
    • Taste
well spicy, nutmeg, but no cinnamon, but rather pepper ... also again burned sugar, and yes, it reminds a bit of rum, rather edgy-tart than sweet, a little bit of brandy ... as "creamy soft" ( official notes), I might call it the first 2 seconds, so long may I get a little harsh fruitiness, but then spice takes over
    • Finish
medium length, pepper, tart honey, rum, slightly resinous
