- On the nose, much cooler than the XII, we are dealing here at the level of the nostrils with an explosion of scents on cooked fruits, on toasted almonds, on a return of creamy yellow wine, on crushed nuts, on raisins soaked, kneaded. A little dust back as well as old leather, it requires to go further in the test!
- Quite delicious and very vinous with wood, which may also be with a Couvreur one. However, the intensity and the bewitching abundance of flavors are missing. Those who are there are beautiful. But I'm more used to Couvreur. 85 points.
Wine-soaked biscuits. Hazelnuts. Soft fruits, surprisingly fresh. Some kräutriger tobacco with mint. Dried fruits and cashew nuts. Student food just. Some dry wood is there too. The character of the wine becomes stronger, a bit cidery. It gets sweeter than expected.
Tobacco-heavy oak, barely sweet. Something blackberry, nut mix. Dry red wine. Also the Nachschmecken is dry. The alcohol does not bite, but tingles. For Couvreur, the palate is also surprisingly woody.
Medium long, vinous and dry. Soft fruits and very subtle tobacco.
