I'm torn if he deserves the points, on the one hand he does not really do anything wrong, but he really does not inspire me, I would have liked to see 2-4y more.
    • Nose
Own nose, some Chichibu atypical, green apple, unripe banana, coconut, mint, lemongrass, some lime, camphor, cardamom
    • Taste
Turmeric, grated coconut, lime, unripe banana, vanilla, marzipan, caraway, in the middle of Chichibu then but halfway out, back, unfortunately, the bittersweet Grain comes back more
    • Finish
Hazelnut chocolate, coconut, mint, ginger, anise, medium-long

The sweetness of the long-aged grain is felt as a lingering finish.
Honey, prunes, ripe peaches, chocolate... Strong sweetness throughout.

Love the mix of peach an apricot with a bit of lemon zest on the nose with a finish of medium length with more tropical fruit and lingering butterscotch notes. Very smooth and have really come to enjoy the Ichiro's releases

    C: gold

N: fruit first of all (pear, apple), vanilla, a little honey, caramel and also a slight smell of solvent / alcohol (but which seems to disappear gradually, maybe the sample ). A little orange zest, and also flowers (rose). Spices too (cinnamon, maybe a little pepper or ginger). It's quite pleasant, but not super expressive. By stirring the glass, it is quite watery and not greasy, a rather young whiskey, therefore.

B: Floral and on the honey / caramel entry and then it collapses a bit. It's watery and a bit alcoholic. A bit of a pot pourri side too.

F: short / medium, quite alcoholic, a little caramel / vanilla and then some spices (we can smell the wood for the moment).

Aroma: Apple pie, sweet corn, honey, vanilla and caramel are perfectly balanced by white pepper and sawdust aromas

Taste: Baking spices, salt, white pepper, sawdust and fresh ginger mix with fruity sweet notes of sweetened lemons, apple tart, banana and raisins

Aftertaste: Fruity and spicy finish with banana, new apple flavors and sawdust and white pepper
This Chichibu limited Edition won WWA's first prize in 2018 as the world's best limited edition blended

Eyes: Golden smelling fragrance. Nose: Refreshing melons and fruits, some flowers (gardenia, rose, winter plum), the smell is soft but not much. A few minutes later, more cream meal packs, custard sandwiches, coconut oil, mild red pear water, and some dry wood sticks appeared. Signs of structural collapse appear after being placed for less than ten minutes, which tends to be thin and pungent, which really reduces scores.
Taste Palate: cream, temperate fruits, grape seed oil, mahogany furniture, bitter base, some white flowers, prominent bitter base, full-bodied but light flavor, even a little dry against the body.
Finish: Medium long, bitter, xylitol, wood, wheat, cantaloupe Body: Medium, full of fat, slightly sticky

    Nose: 86/100
    Palate: 84/100
    Finish: 83/100
    Body: 86/100
Overall: 84.5/100, the overall sense of balance is good, and also very round, but the flavor is too light to appear too bitter.

Appearance: Golden amber, darker than the 505.

Nose: Woody oak, caramel, apple, peach, light raisins.

Palate: Woody and tannic oak, bit apricot, stewed peaches, dried apricot, apples.

    Finish: Dried apricot, pepper, oak.

With Water: More fruit in the nose, maltier taste.

Overall: The apricot flavor is lovely, otherwise a bit simple. You get a sense here of what might be the beauty of Ichiro’s malt, but this is overpriced in a preposterous way.

Pretty floral, and not very complex. Very flat.
    • Nose
Orange bark, white flower, caramel, camphor, chocolate wood, cinnamon. Chocolate. Pot rotten with aeration.
    • Taste
In the mouth it is quite sweet, diluted, on orange, caramel, toffee, pot pourri, cherry brandy. The Rose.
    • Finish
Final on the rotten pot, the red fruit, the caramel.

    ● The dress.
Yellow gold, thick and creamy tears, big slow drops.

    ● The nose.
Rye, grain, orange / cinnamon, lemon and pastry, Christmas spices.
Sweet cereals, coconut and caramel, mandarin, vanilla and noble wood, pear beautiful Helen.

    ● The mouth.
Gourmet, syrupy and vanilla, white chocolate and barley, grain, cooked corn, pear and orange, lemon, ginger peel, old wood.
    Power and balance.

    ● The final.
    Long, spicy and liquorice.
    Dry on the forest leaves.

Very pleasant and greedy, more accessible than the Paris edition.
It remains complex but nothing transcendent, I remain ulcerated by the price, but that does not matter, I would not buy it.

If it had to be given a subjective note, it would be a 86.
