So I do not like the nose, it is going in the wrong direction, after it was so appetizing in the beginning, he knows how to convince in the mouth. The juxtaposition of the notes fits very harmoniously. The departure also leaves a positive memory.

    Notes from a blind tasting.

Very fat right at the beginning. Vanilla and yellow fruits, padded, not spotted. First let it breathe ...
After a few minutes, he almost smells like a bourbon, at least for a moment. Caramel pudding is the key note that does not really lend itself to you. With a little more time a slight acid develops and it becomes buttery, again vanilla. Fruit notes only with a little imagination. Heat brings strong grassy notes, a few herbs and even very light menthol to the fore, as well as fermentation notes.
    • Taste

Oily in the mouth and staggered quite vigorously in the beginning, with as much sweetness as wood, where the sweetness is indeed subtle, too strong is the dull, earthy wood in the center, but only with very little bitter substances. In the second sip I now have the grass in my mouth and he gets a bit herbaceous bitter to the back. In addition very easily metallic. Hui, but with a big mouthful he is very strong!
    • Finish
      84 84
In the finish he dries on and on, the sweetness never disappears completely. Medium long and with nice residual heat.

Yes, not mine. Too young, too much alcohol, too strong first-fill bourbon barrel influence. Just not my malt style. I do not like strong bitter. But the malt can not do that.
    • Nose
      84 84
Vanilla, ginger, cloves, green apples, grapefruit, licorice, banana, Brazil nuts, freshly sawn wood, more vanilla, more ginger, more licorice - heavy nose, barely restrained, slightly alcoholic, alcoholic
    • Taste
      83 83
sweet, then directly spicy with clove-pepper, ginger, vanilla, custard, underlaid with yellow fruit; Banana, grapefruit, some mirabelle, coconut, the first fill bourbon barrel says hello - then come to Bitternoten, with plenty of peppery walnut skin, oily-buttery, with cold coffee, lots of licorice, gentian root - always bitter
    • Finish
      82 82
strong bitter, with vanilla sweetness, banana and grapefruit skin underlined, alcoholic, mouth and throat become furry

A very nice malt if you like fruity sweetness.
    • Nose
      Extremely fruity nose.
    • Taste
Firmly fruity in the taste. At first some sharpness and then an explosion of fruit and sweetness on the tongue. Delicious! With water he almost loses something. Of course, softer but not so great fruity sweet.
    • Finish
The sweetness "sticks" very long on the tongue.
