Now this is some surprising stuff! Peated Irish whiskey is not too common, but this is definately better than the Connemara. Nicely balanced, enough room for sweet- and fruitiness besides the peat. Very enjoyable whiskey.

Smoke, peat, some rubber, but also sweet and fruity notes. Peat is definately dominant, not too much alcohol, very pleasant nose. Later on some vanilla as well.
    • Taste
      85 85
Some sal-ammoniac at first, licorice. Some pepper, sweet smoke, some vanilla and honey sweetness.
    • Finish

Still some pepper, just a little of sal-ammoniac, licorice. Sweet smoke. Middle long finish, with a bit drying mouthfeel.
