Apparently includes up to 60% Glen Grant, blended together with other malts and put to rest in sherry casks in 1999, at which point the component malts may have already been five years old (see Highland Herold No. 42, Spring 2019, p.14).
Solid stuff with many of the hallmarks of much older malts, such as deep and dense aromas of varnish and wood polish. Thickly sherried and cask-heavy but very good, especially at this price point. Almost a poor man's Glendronach single cask. ;)
