Nose: Very elegant, the peat smoke is deep and pleasant, age has smoothed all edges. A pleasant sweetness comes up, raspberry jam hits me first, then some grenadine and black tea with honey. There is a light tobacco note, some cigar smoke and oiled oak.
Palate: Green tea and a hint of peppermint, peat smoke. Then, quite distantly, lemon juice, leather and sweet pipe tobacco, dried berries, kitchen herbs and wood sugar.
Finish: Very long, very pleasant, slightly smoked ham with herb honey marinade, cloves and rosemary.
Conclusion: Great! 93/100 points
