Really refreshing and enjoyable.
Never given this distillery much of a thought but at £40 I would definitely buy a bottle if I come across it.
Sweet, very sweet. And very fruity.
Almost Tokai like.
Honey melon. Honey. Pear, apricot.
Light and yummy.
The fruit mix in it self is pretty complex, but I'm not sure I would call the whisky complex, because it's hard to find anything else. Maybe a hint of strawberry bubble gum.
Creamy, almost thick, with a nice follow up of the nose.
It is almost an over fortified sweet yellow desert wine.
Some spice arriving midway, along with some cask/wood notes.
46% works well, it's right where you are reminded that you are drinking whisky, not just a fruit juice.
A little short of medium.
Fruit and spice continues, the wood goes slightly dry.
