To be honest I was expecting this to be the same as the regular Loch Dhu (ID 57815) but I noticed that it is fresher, more intense and has more fruitiness. It has also 43% abv instead of just 40% abv like the regular bottling which could make a positive difference. Anyhow I thin kthis one is quite drinkable.

OK, this is like Fernet Branca but I like that. Thus still 81 points.
    • Nose
Aceto balsamico (black vinegar), citric, black currant, also some woody notes
    • Taste
Creamy, little acidity, woody notes, toffee, burnt sugar, espresso, tarry notes, cooked oranges, jam, subtle sweetness
    • Finish
Medium long, warm, a tad bitter
