Furniture polish, not particularly complex. A touch of bounty dark and Brazil nut
    • Taste
      87 87
      Sweet, mild, nice
    • Finish
      85 85
A quickie of cotton candy, unfortunately with a slightly soapy undertone

scbp-5551, the ideal type of bourbon single barrel, peat-free tea-scented fruit basket, beautiful style, if it can be accompanied by a cup of lab goodbye, it would be wonderful.

Goodbye Nanguo. Coming to the dust and old tea stand, the scent of mixed tea and mint, the delicate acids and esters create a clear expression of the fruit basket, condensed sour pineapple, sweet raisins, sweet orange juice, jackfruit sweetness, passion fruit, micro sea salt, Coatco's red pomelo in slightly sugar water, with some dill on the side, is clear and beautiful. 95

It is indeed the sweet scent of Jin Jun eyebrows. In addition, the association of sweet flavoring products is very strong, such as maltose, coffee mate, maple syrup, condensed milk, heavy mint, star anise maceration, grapes, old books, old mango fragrance, The mouthfeel is relatively short, quickly closed with tea tannins, covering wide and shrinking. The taste is full, with oily touch in the front part and tea-like tannin in the back part, but it is smoother and the expression length is short, which is regrettable. p88b88

Heavy tea, smooth, dense tannins, licorice, mint, micro syrup, grapefruit peel oil. 92

You have to like coconut ... I like coconut! Very, very cool bottling.
    • Nose
Coconut, brown sugar, coconut, honey, coconut, pineapple, coconut, yellow plum, coconut, cinnamon bark ... and a touch of coconut.
    • Taste
Lively, neat wood, furniture polish and of course coconut.
    • Finish
Warm and long finish, pleasantly woody.

Despite the amount of aromas, it looks rather fragile. But of course it's very tasty. This is more of a whisky to be very, very consciously enjoyed or analyzed. Otherwise you will miss something. As a side note: exciting that there are so many sherry flavors to be found. No such cask was involved. Full review (german): https://keinehalbendrinks.de/2020/08/19/old-rare-flight-002/

    Hard noted.
Very nice profile. Superb balanced and beautiful complexity. But hard to find a typicity.
Definitely very good, but will I remember that glass?
    • Nose
Super nice nose, although a little wooded for my taste.
White grape, apple, pear, peach. Lemon. Caramel, light salty wind. Tobacco, wood, a little wax and detergent.
    • Taste
In the mouth it's oily, on the engine, the dust, the old book.
Then the fruit comes out. Strawberry, apricot, peach, lemon. A beautiful explosion.
We have black pepper wrapped in cocoa, cranberry. Very pretty.
      A hint of camphor, leather.
    • Finish
Chocolate and leather finish. Red fruit.

    • Taste
Himbeere, Vanille, Kräuter, Milchschokolade, Rosenmarzipan, Litschi-Macarons
    • Finish
Mittlerer Abgang, erinnert mich an Traube-Nuss Schokolade

This appears to be the same bottling as "I was there - but not that day" which is limited to 250 bottles, only this states on the label that it is one of 20.  Attached is the link to the auction site where it sold recently.http://www.scotchwhiskyauctions.com/store/product/51_the-23rd-auction-runs-until-sunday-march-3/11061_230310-bruichladdich-valinch-i-was-there/

"A 31 year old Bruichladdich distilled in 1970 and available, in general,

only at the distillery. The Valinch whiskies are the single casks that

they get visitors to hand bottle themselves when visiting and are thus

rather rare. This is one of the ones from the early days of the

distillery`s millenial rebirth and is rather good."
