I was trying to find out how much this was for those people who got a chance to buy one on release and then found out it was £75 and can only find one for sale at Robertson's in Pitlochry for £365?

I am struggling hard how any 13 year old regardless of what specialist series it was supposed to be could be worth that sort of money in a shop.

£75 on release about a month ago yet you are looking at roughly a 300% increase on the secondary market, more from a shop. The thing is people had to go to a ballot to get one so for the unfortunate ones who could not get one have to find alternative means like that shop or private sellers.

I think the distilleries should pack in doing these auctions for bottles as it does no one any favours.

I'm honestly disappointed, especially since it is not a standard range of whisky and has already received so many points here.
It has very good approaches in the nose and in the taste, but in both cases sharp alcohol dominates. Burning remains in the finish.
Apparently a lot of young whisky has landed here.

  5. The Macallan scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

Nice aroma, but heed some water to reveal it self
    • Nose
Exotic/tropical fruit, sherry, tobacco, spiced vanilla, gentle and slightly briny with mixed spice
    • Taste
pure: very anasthetic, tobacco and leather, dry and sherry notes when reduced
    • Finish
Medium long, peppery, burning and spicy
