This is unfortunately not possible because the sample is already empty ;-) This Glenfarclas is extremely tasty and creamy mild with the result that I somehow lacked the depth and character. A delicious all-day easy-drinking dram, nothing less and nothing more. Tastes and likes ...
    • Nose
Dark and heavy sherry aromas rise, old orange aroma and dark caramel mix, while the nose seems to be a little bit closed at the beginning. A hint of citrus fruit rises from the nose, apricot and peach, which are otherwise characterized by sweet and dark fruit flavors. Creamy roasted aromas and a very minimal hint of sulfur end in green apples and a handful of nuts. The nose is creamy and sweet, fruity and voluminous.
    • Taste
Sweet and mild, the first sip flows down the throat through the palate. Sweet fruits like oranges and apricots mingle with creamy milk chocolate nut chocolate, the alcohol is wonderfully mild and harmoniously integrated. A few dried berries and grapes show up, hazelnuts and walnuts follow, the taste is relatively fast in the aftertaste.
    • Finish
Again, sweet berries and oranges, creamy milk chocolate flows over hazelnuts, dried berries and dark caramel make the tasty finish sound tasty and pleasing. The aftertaste remains in memory for an astonishingly long time, prompting me to simply take another sip.

My first try of Glenfarclas. I advice very harmonious, a lot of pleasure in tasting

Morello cherries, ripe red fruits and sherry
    • Taste
      86 86
The cherry is very present, ripe fruit. We can sense the influence of Oloroso Sherry casks.
      Easy to drink
    • Finish

Powerful and long always on red fruits

    • Nose
Unfortunately I can only dust a small puddle. Let's see what I get out ...
Not overloaded, dry sherry flavors. The colleague is very clean, creamy and somehow clear. Dried fruits in the form of mirabelle, pear, peach and plum. Sugared raisins and baked apple with cinnamon. He also smells a bit like wood. Interesting, I find the nutty bitterness, next to marzipan with chocolate. In the background lemon, slightly pungent alcohol and seasoning. Goes in the direction of ginger. Subtle roast flavors come after.
    • Taste
Now it's time to ... divide the crowd ...;) Clear, slightly alcoholic onset. First thought mirabelle brandy with a splash of lemon. The ginger flavor pushes the story ever. Nut, some chocolate and cereals. The baked apple with cinnamon is also found in the taste. The colleague tastes a little more sour than the nose pretends. With the second, homeopathic sip, the sweet comes through better. Warm, sugared plum cake. So ... closing time ... empty
    • Finish
Medium length with a good dose of bitterness and sour sharpness. The colleague develops towards the end still a very pleasant, slightly dry, fruity sweetness, which sticks nicely to the cheeks.

Beautifully integrated alcohol, not too much, not too little. Beautiful, not quite mouth-filling feeling, the drinking experience is mainly on the tip and the front part of the tongue and the upper palate. Certainly a (re-) refill whisky. Definitely not a typical GF.
    • Nose
Light fresh fruit, mirabelle jelly, dry sherry, rose water, marzipan croissants, wine-soaked Christmas baked apple, peppermint, after some time Riesling Spätlese with vineyard peaches note. Light, delicate and beautiful.
    • Taste
Sweetish-dry, tingling, peppery onset, first as carbonic acid, then as cayenne pepper on the tip of the tongue. Over time, it is similar to the nose, subtly fruity-dry white wine notes, peach and apple, shortbread cookies, floury-dry mouthfeel, ginger and a pinch of cinnamon.
    • Finish
Sweetish-fruity-dry, light tannins, very delicate, beautiful bitterness, long and spicy, becoming drier with time, fruitiness vanishes, candied ginger. There are many spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom.
