    I'm in love!
    This whisky has to offer new variations of its flavors with each sip
    his youthful power mixes with the skill and the experience
    his master

    yes, I'm in heaven
    • Nose
      Peat fire in the fog
      burnt cold wood
      Smoke from bacon smoking
      pine needles
      fresh fish
      sweet vanilla
      a very male nose
      that smells of adventure and danger
    • Taste
      Suddenly you feel smooth and cool
      very pleasant a peat fire on your tongue
      and yet it is hot and makes your tongue glow
      cools down again
      You have sweet peat in your mouth
      with vanilla and the taste of an old car repair shop
      a burnt down cold hearth
    • Finish
      Burnt with hot smoke and cold ashes
      Malt that changes from sweet and smoky to dry and salty
      a constant interplay
      to the end wet and salt liquorice in the midst of a cooled fire

    A very friendly host opened up a bottle for our group at the end of the diner just after a very appreciable Laphroaig 10 Casck Strenght Bacth #010
    What a remarkable dram!
    One of the Ardbeg Limited Editions that have given new shine to the distillery....
    Ten minutes in the glass and some drop of water let the dram present all it's attributes.....
    • Nose
      93 93
      Dry peat, citric. toffee, medicinal, hint of vanilla and hay.... well balanced, alcohol not aggressive at all.
    • Taste
      91 91
      The peat is confirmed, a pleasant dry sensation in the mouth, warm and round, orange, salt, cake and some marine note
    • Finish
      92 92
      Long, long and still present after 40 minutes.... peat leaves it's place to licorice and spice (cinnamon).... a wonderful after diner.....

      Pleasant but intense peat smoke, vanilla, pipe tobacco, citrus fruit
    • Taste

      Very smoky, slightly alcoholic, subtle chocolate, oily, light vanilla sweetness
    • Finish
      91 91
      very long and warm

    My personal "favorite Ardbeg" and certainly one of the best ...
    Simply awesome .... a top malt!
    [Color] white wine;
    • Nose
      a lot of dry campfire smoke, leather, ginger, sweetness, caramel, vanilla;
    • Taste
      diluted: sweet smoky full intense explosion, aromatic, chocolate, bourbon vanilla, creamy, oily, complex;
    • Finish
      enormously long, smoky and sweet finish, long finish;

    Only a little bit in the mouth and let mix with saliva for a long time.
    • Nose
      First closed and clearly alcoholic. Distinct smoke with malt.
    • Taste
      Powerful and smoky, burning not too strong. Something teen.
    • Finish
      Typical Ardbeg finish. Smoke.

    A very nice grenade. A must for every smoke lover!
    • Nose
      actually not very smoky in the beginning but more light fruit, a bit of banana, vanilla, the classic Ardbegsüße is there, a touch of cinnamon, yes ok and the smoke is there, but not as intense as expected, the smoke goes hand in hand with the cinnamon note, caramel, a bit of grated lemon zest, malt with water I still find salted fish
    • Taste
      ok here is the smoke now omnipresent, intense, powerful, here too cinnamon, sweet, banana, salty, vanilla, some pepper, wow is the smoky, there can not keep Octomore, as if you had kindled a campfire in the mouth with water, it becomes extremely creamy, almost syrupy, nothing changes in the aroma cargo
    • Finish
      Smoke, smoke, smoke, dry, the whole mouth is full of it, the banana lingers for quite a long time, slightly sweet, warming, the smoke lasts indefinitely

    A very expressive Ardbeg, I like it very much, but is really almost more intensive care than Islay holidays ...
    • Nose
      Zirtone, tar, asphalt, smoke and iodine characterize the beginning, strongly medically - adhesive plaster / leucoplastic, menthol and more and more cold smoke in the background;
    • Taste
      Extremely medinaine: Heftplaster, Leukoplast, gauze bandage and a whole load of hospital odors, spicy, dry and peppery; plus some hard-to-define spice (cinnamon?);
    • Finish
      Violent, enormously powerful, extremely medically, spicy;
