After extensive and exciting smelling, the malt in my mouth really blew my mind, what a delicious whisky, what a great dessert and the espresso is also included. In France it's called Café Gourmand, which is a pretty good idea. I should invent names for the SMWS ;-)
    • Nose
A full load of dark chocolate and nuts, including lighter red berries and raspberries, which have acidity, now becoming sweeter after a rather dry start, now almost feels like a syrup, although the nose is still very light and above all fruity, something Spice, a hint of caraway, very malty, raisins, now it's getting thicker again, a little tobacco, you can definitely recognize him as Glen Els, when warmed up you get grassy notes at the beginning, briefly I had oatmeal, and Freshly sliced kohlrabi, which does not yet have the typical pungent cabbage smell, the red thread is the chocolate, sometimes darker sometimes lighter, through the smell, overall it's fun and very varied
    • Taste
Creamy, oily, dense, sweet, chocolate, whole milk, raisins, sticky, nut, roasted aromas, espresso, wow is that delicious, massive malt, caramel, also the typical sweet Glen Els note, great mouthfeel that invites you to chew
    • Finish
now light freshness, a little mint, nuts, it gets a bit bitter, pleasant and warming finish, creamy

Nose is very nice, classic sherry notes. Unfortunately, in the mouth it is very sprightly and inharmonious. A pity

The smell is beguiling, but unfortunately not like whisky, but more like a Spanish brandy. After the Glen Els could breathe something, the impression is better and more like a whisky. In the mouth he likes me better, this is whisky, although sweeter than usual. The finish goes well with the taste. For lovers of very sweet whiskys this could be something. For me that's too much and too little whisky.
    • Nose
Very sweet, raisins, leather, plum, lovage, forest soil, really sweet, dried herbs, potting soil, very rotten wood
    • Taste
Medium on, creamy body, raisins, some wood, delicate astringent, sweet sherry, dates, not as sweet as in the nose, a bit musty
    • Finish
The finish brings a mixture of sweet raisins and light wood notes with little bitterness, medium length

jo ... already a beating the thing. think the 5er Sherry but balanced in comparison. But with a little bit of water he gets thrilling again. With over 100 euros a bit expensive. Nevertheless: Glen Else * best German whisky *
    • Nose
Sherry ... alcohol ... oak ... #save something up # Oak remains dominant. #water for this # Nevertheless, oak and alcohol remain heavy.
    • Taste
sweet ... again some oak ... with creamy chocolate ... neat steam ... creaminess that turns into a little bit of bitterness
#water for this # mhhh ... vanilla chocolate cream. and a few red fruits on top
    • Finish
a bit dry ... bitterness and sweetness take off.
#water for this # stay a little sweet
